Kalibo Ati-Atihan festival
On January 10 to 16, 2011, Aklanons and tourists will gather once again in the capital town of Aklan for one of the biggest festivals in the country – the Kalibo Ati-Atihan Festival.
The Kalibo Ati-Atihan Festival 2011 will be managed by the Kalibo Sto. Nino Ati-Atihan Foundation, Inc. (KASAFI), an organization composed of competent individuals from the academe, business sector, media, civic, religious and non-government organizations.
The foundation aims to enrich the festival by coming up with new activities while preserving the unique Ati-Atihan traditions which serves as the attraction of the festival.
